Recently the Prensa Libre, a large newspaper in Guatemala, published a front page article about Villa Nueva.  Below is the feature illustration that vividly shows the city where, as the article states, 55,000 of the poorest people in Central America live.  It is these very individuals who can so greatly benefit from the love of Christ through the response of His people.

Under the name of
One Man's Treasure, a children’s home has been founded that picks kids from the streets and provides them with vocational training. Initially they will be educated in the use of computers, but in time, they will receive other valuable skills.  Our involvement with these children is for the purpose of helping them spiritually, morally, and physically -- in short, to offer them a future.

There are many opportunities for volunteers to be involved in this project.
